How does A Magnetostrictive Sensor work?
In a magnetostrictive level transmitter, the sensor circuit excites a pulse current along a waveguide wire, creating a pulsed magnetic field. A float, equipped with permanent magnetic rings, moves along the sensor rod in response to liquid level changes. When the pulsed magnetic field interacts with the float's magnetic field, it generates a torsional wave pulse in the magnetostrictive material at the float's position. This pulse travels back along the waveguide at a fixed speed and is detected by the mechanism, allowing precise measurement of the liquid surface position by calculating the time difference between the pulse current and the torsional wave.

Installation

Package
We pack the sensor with thick paper tube , which is stong enough for long time and long distace delivery. If the working range is too much long for example , more than 3 meters , we will pack it with wooden box .
