Oil Level Switch Sensor
The oil level switch is a switchgear that uses transformer oil to insulate contacts, prevent oxidation, and dissipate heat. When the switch opens, an arc forms between contacts, decomposing oil into hydrogen to extinguish the arc.

Replace oil regularly – Arc heat breaks down oil, reducing insulation (oil turns black from carbon buildup).
Avoid overfilling – Excess oil vaporizes under arc heat, risking oil surges, splashing, or explosion.
