Application of rope displacement sensor in geological detection industry

WPS-XS-2

The pull-rope displacement sensor is used in the geological monitoring industry. The monitoring point is usually far away from the central control room, and it is difficult to transmit through wired cables. The sensor signal output is mostly 4-20mA two-wire current signal and RS485 digital signal. The signal is transmitted to the collector and wireless transceiver (wireless collector), and is wirelessly transmitted to the central control room centralized control system. The cable displacement sensor and wireless collector have low power consumption and can be powered by battery or solar power system. This not only reduces the cost of scheme design, but also reduces the difficulty of construction and the workload of later maintenance, and is widely used in the geological monitoring industry.

1. Underground displacement monitoring is an important channel and research hotspot for geological disaster prediction and quality and safety evaluation of geotechnical engineering projects. Because of the particularity of the monitoring point environment, the slow change and long period of displacement and deformation, and the sudden and random nature of disasters, the development of automatic monitoring technology for underground displacement is slow, and it is difficult to accurately measure and measure the change of underground displacement. LVDT displacement sensors can be used in underground displacement monitoring projects. The sensors are embedded in different depths of rock and soil to dynamically monitor geological parameters such as horizontal displacement, settlement, vibration, deflection, cracks, etc. of monitoring points. Therefore, it can accurately feedback underground displacement and deformation information. Disaster causes, development trends and disaster early warning provide scientific, comprehensive and reliable data support. It also provides a reference for prediction and early warning of disaster intensity, critical conditions, disaster time, and disaster scale.

2. It has great potential and advantages in geological monitoring applications. The sensor is small in size and easy to install and fix. For special monitoring areas such as hillsides, cliffs, slag, and debris flow high-incidence areas with complex terrain, the cable displacement sensor can be directly installed on the surface to be detected, and the displacement can be converted into electrical signals, which is convenient for remote transmission and system acquisition and processing. By monitoring the change law of the displacement of the measured point, an early warning is issued before a disaster occurs, which is convenient for managers to make a response plan in advance.
